The One Block Gap Bypass is a basic trick used in Super Mario Maker. This trick allows Super Mario or higher to fit into a gap that would normally prevent him from entering.
How It Works[]
When ducking as Super Mario he is able to fit into a one block high gap. Through various methods it is possible to force Mario to make it into the gap.
Variations[]
Air Twirl[]
By duck jumping and performing an air twirl it is possible to get enough momentum to slide into the gap. This is only possible in the New Super Mario Bros. U game style.

Partial Wall Clip[]
By doing a partial wall clip from above while ducking, Mario will gain just enough speed from being ejected from the wall to make it into the gap. This can also be done underwater if Mario swims upwards into the partial wall clip after ducking.
