Magikoopas, also known as Kameks in Japan, are Koopas that can cast spells. They wear blue robes and hats resembling the garb of a wizard.
History[]
Super Mario Maker[]
Magikoopas will teleport around the screen and shoot magic at Mario at random. Magikoopas that are stacked will be unable to teleport. If the magic spell hits a block or power-up it will be transformed into one of 7 items at random.
Unlike in previous games, they can be killed by fireballs and Mario is unable to Spin Jump on their spell.

Variations[]
Magikoopa can have the following variations:
- Magikoopa: A regular Magikoopa that teleports around the level and attacks with magic that can transform various objects.
- Giant Magikoopa: A bigger version of Magikoopa. The magic spell is bigger as well and if it transforms an object the resulting object will also be bigger.
- Winged Magikoopa: A Magikoopa that has wings and can fly. If it transforms an object the resulting object will also have wings.
Abilities[]
Magikoopas can cast magic spells that can destroy and transform blocks and power-ups into various different items. In addition, Magikoopas can cause the Goal Post or Axe to disappear, only returning when the Magikoopa that cast the spell is killed, the Magikoopa after causing the end to disappear can be killed by Mario by off-screening the Magikoopa either vertically or horizontally. Magikoopas can transform the following objects:

Mechanics[]
Magikoopas's spells can go through walls if the Magikoopa is standing close enough to a wall. It can also go through corners with the right angle and simply go through spikes and various other objects. With the right timing, it is possible to make a Magikoopa perform an otherwise impossible spell trajectory if it changes direction right when the magic spell is shot.
How To Defeat[]
Magikoopas are defeated after 1 attack and can be killed the following ways:
- Any method of attack
